Sometimes it seems that some of the actors can't live without each other, and it's impossible to take your eyes off of how they're interacting onscreen.

The directors understand this as well and offer them joint roles again and again.

Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence

The two actors first appeared on screen together in Silver Linings Playbook by David O. Russell. The collaboration was so successful that both were nominated for an Oscar.

Jennifer eventually won the award, becoming one of the youngest recipients at the time. The director decided to use the already successful formula again – he brought the actors together in his new movie American Hustle.

And it worked! The movie also received high praise from critics and fans. Now the acting duo has four films together, including another work by David O. Russell Joy and Serena by Susanne Bier.

Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson

You have definitely seen this one of the most famous comedy duos, if not in the movie, then certainly in the memes. The actors first met on the set of the comedy thriller The Cable Guy.

From that moment on, they became real bros. At the time, Stiller was much more popular than Owen, and it was Ben who helped his partner's career grow by inviting him to star in new comedies.

Their friendship has transformed into an amazing on-screen chemistry that has led them to appear together in a wide range of films including Meet the Parents, Night at the Museum, and Starsky&Hutch.

The Zoolander memes, which can be viewed endlessly, only prove the greatness of their comedy duo.

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost

The acquaintance of these two actors was just the kind of thing that gives birth to a great friendship. While ordering in one of the London cafes, Simon portrayed Chewbacca and the only person in the room who appreciated the joke was none other than Nick Frost.

The TV series Spaced, directed by Edgar Wright, was the first resounding success of the fan-favorite comedy duo. And then, for a while, the duo turned into a trio.

The mega-successful Cornetto trilogy was also filmed under Edgar Wright's direction.

Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore

Adam Sandler loved doing rom-coms with Drew Barrymore long before he started doing low-rated thrash comedies. Their first collaboration, The Wedding Singer, was successful on many levels precisely for that reason.

The actors play a couple in love so convincingly that many really believe there's something between them. In fact, they're bosom buddies. They also teamed up in such movies as 50 First Dates and Blended.
