Sex! Now that we have your attention, let's find out what was wrong with it in Bridgerton season 1 and how it all changed in season 2.

Now that everyone is anxiously waiting for the upcoming Bridgerton season 3, Reddit users have started a war of words to defend their favorite power couple's sex life.

So there goes Daphne and Simon's crazy, intense, endless amount of sometimes awkward but still passionate sex versus Kate and Anthony's season-long sexual tension with the one and only outburst in the middle of the night.

Season 1 was almost entirely focused on the sex life of its main couple. Poor Daphne, who didn't even know what sex was before she got married, had discovered it and couldn't get enough.

After the wedding night, there is the honeymoon sex, the makeup sex, the breakup sex, the outdoor sex, and the list goes on...

Another person whose love life made an impression on the audience was, of course, Anthony. His passionate affair with Sienna sometimes felt quite real in terms of sexuality, but that was about it.

There was almost no relationship development and even intimacy didn't help them to be on the same page at the same time.

So in the end, it seems that fans just accidentally witnessed some hot Viscount hookups.

But Bridgerton season 2 learned from its first mistakes. There really were a lot less actual sex scenes between Kate and the lovesick (but not yet aware of it) Anthony.

Instead, the writers chose to build up an extremely high tension that was almost tangible from the screen.

The sexual attraction they felt for each other was so hot that there was no need for a naked bed scene to make the fans believe that they wanted each other desperately.

And when the one and only sex scene did happen in the season finale, it was so real that fans actually admitted that it was enough for the whole season.

"I was not a fan of the sex scenes in season 1. I couldn't stop thinking about how horrendously awkward it must have been for the actors to film those scenes, and it totally took me out of the moment. The intimacy in season 2 with their longing stares and barely held restraint feel so much more natural and organic.

It really made me appreciate the actual sex scenes bc i was fully immersed and not at all thinking about the mechanics of this being a TV show," Reddit user dogemama said.

However, because it was all so amazing, fans were left wanting more. And now there's only hope that season 3 will finally give them more of Kanthony's intimacy.
