Kit Harington Joins New HBO Project But GoT Fans Aren't Happy
Kit Harington, one of Game of Thrones' biggest stars, has been put once again under the spotlight lately.
Amidst the rumors of HBO's new projects set in the Game of Thrones world, many eyes are drawn to him since one of the projects the company's discussing is SNOW — the series about Jon Snow's adventures in the Far North after the Game of Thrones finale.
Fans have been waiting for updates ever since, specifically from HBO as a whole and Kit Harington as Jon Snow's actor. And now, the news finally came: it was announced that Kit Harington joins a new (for him, that is) HBO project.
But GoT fans aren't exactly happy since the show in question has nothing to do with it.
Instead of SNOW, Kit will take on a new character in Industry: he'll be playing one Henry Muck, the founder of a green energy company that will be trying to go public in season 3 of Industry.

So far, he seems pretty similar to Harington's character in Extrapolations who was also a green-oriented tech entrepreneur.
This news is definitely good for Industry, but it gives nothing away about Jon Snow's sequel.
Kit Harington is keeping his mouth shut on the matter, too: even after GRRM's leak about SNOW, he refused to reveal anything about the potential spin-off, referencing the famous "You know nothing, Jon Snow" meme instead.
But if we were to cheer up the GoT fans that are waiting for news on SNOW, we have some logical conclusions that might do the trick.

Since Jon Snow's spin-off was Kit Harington's idea, to begin with, it means that the actor is interested in continuing the character's story.
Kit being cast in a different HBO project is a sign that he's still in a good relationship with the network.
And considering that most fans are actively supporting the idea of SNOW, all of this summed up gives them a glimmer of hope that the project may get a green light.
