More to the Game: Six Projects in the GoT World HBO Are Considering Right Now
With the overwhelming success of the Game of Thrones series, it was only logical to expect HBO to continue their collaboration with George Martin.
It already resulted in the House of the Dragon series, and there's more to come — HBO are considering quite a few possible spin-offs right now!
Here are six projects that are currently undergoing the approval process, according to rumors.
Snow
In this show, we will follow Jon Snow's adventure into the Lands of Always Winter and see what mysteries he unravels on the way. It would also make perfect sense for some other characters to return in this series, like the new Queen in the North, Sansa Stark.
Tales of Dunk and Egg
The Tales will be set during the times of the Blackfyre rebellion, with Ser Duncan the Tall and Aegon Targaryen as the main characters. We'll get to travel all across Westeros with them and watch these historic events unfold before our eyes.
The 9 Voyages of the Sea Snake
In this series, we'll watch the young Corlys Velaryon, the greatest seafarer in the world, as he explores and broadens the boundaries of the known world and conquers the seas.
Nymeria: 10,000 Ships
Another huge historical event will be covered in Nymeria: 10,000 Ships. Here, we'll watch as the legendary warrior Queen starts her great exodus from the Valyrian Empire and settles down in Dorne, founding her own kingdom.
The Golden Empire of Yi Ti
In The Golden Empire animated series, we'll get a closer look at Yi Ti, a powerful empire from Essos, with its wars, politics, and trials. Since Yi Ti is mostly inspired by Imperial China, we'll likely see completely new characters of Asian descent.
Mysterious animated series
The only information about this show is that it's supposed to be animated, just like The Golden Empire. Anything beyond that is unknown; however, there are thousands of events, eras, and characters it could cover, so it's sure to be interesting.
At the moment, there's no way to learn what series HBO will settle on; however, rumor has it, they might have already approved Snow. We'll keep a close eye on the situation and let you know any news as soon as it's available!
