Kit Harington Hints at Sob-Worthy Storylines in Jon Snow Spin-off
Kit Harington, the actor who famously played the brooding and luscious Jon Snow in the hit series Game of Thrones, is once again ready to rock that fur cloak.
Kit Harington, the actor who played the beloved character of Jon Snow in the hit HBO series Game of Thrones, has recently shared some exciting details about the upcoming spin-off of the show and its plot, which will focus on the adventures of Snow.
Harington hinted that the new series, currently known as Snow, will see his character facing some difficult challenges and struggles.
In the last episode of the Game of Thrones' final season John killed Daenerys Targaryen, played by Emilia Clarke, and was exiled beyond the Wall as punishment.
He will have to live the rest of his life with the weight of his actions on his shoulders. Kit Harington has hinted that it won't be easy for John to come to terms with what he's done. It sounds like he'll be struggling with some pretty intense feelings of regret and guilt.
In the final episode of the series, John Snow was getting ready to be executed, and, according to Harington himself, he actually wanted it to happen.
Here's How Joffrey Baratheon Actor Looks Now
He went to the Wall and it turned out to be both a blessing and a curse. He has to go back there and live the rest of his life thinking about the fact that he killed Daenerys, that Ygritte died in his arms, and that he hanged Olly. It will be interesting to see how he deals with all of that.
For some fans, though, it all sounds like a picnic, not exile:
"Come on, how "exiled" is he really? I'm sure once the heat dies down a little Sansa would let him at least visit her realm. The only one still alive with any real ill will towards him is Grey Worm, and it didn't seem like he had any interest in being in Westeros," Reddit user u/nails_for_breakfast suggested.
Harington's comments have left fans of the show eagerly anticipating the release of the spin-off and eager to see what new adventures and challenges Snow will face.
It's unlikely, though, that we'll get to see Snow on screen once again before House of the Dragon season 2 release, slated for 2024. Right now the team behind the show continues to work on the script, with Harington and George R. R. Martin both involved in its development.
