Kieran Culkin Almost Spills All Beans on Succession Ending
Both cast and fans can't wait to finally see who's going to be The Successor to Logan's throne.
The Succession final season premiere is only a few days away, and with each day the tension within the fandom grows.
The news about the show coming to an end was truly devastating to many viewers around the world, and even for the cast members themselves, as they were not sure about whether there'll be another season or not until the very end.
In her recent interview with Los Angeles Times Sarah Snook, who portrays Shiv Roy shared her perspective on the finale, saying she was very sad and heartbroken.
However, not everyone seems to share the same feelings toward the decision: Kieran Culkin, portraying another sibling, Roman Roy, actually felt satisfied with the show ending.
"It felt like it could end right there, or it could continue. Both felt good to me," the actor said on the red carpet of NYC Succession season 4 premiere, speaking with Extra.
According to Culkin, the show's creator, Jesse Armstrong explained the ending to him at the very beginning of working on season 4.
Although, the future of Succession wasn't decided yet, so he also had three more ways of how the story could've continued.
It is unclear what exactly affected Armstrong's decision, but later it was announced season 4 will indeed be the last of Succession.
Culkin added later that he doesn't have "the foggiest idea" how anyone would perceive the ending, which gives off an idea that it could be slightly controversial.
Unfortunately, that was everything that the actor could give out: right at the next moment he had to stop himself from giving anything crucial away and spoiling the experience for the audience.
Tune in on HBO March 26 to join the on-screen premiere of the final season of Succession yourself.
