Pharaoh Rama-Tooth, Victor Timely, Scarlet Centurion – Kang has had many names in the time he has traveled the world, jumping from one historical period to another. Created almost 60 years ago by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Kang has become one of Marvel's most intriguing villains, so Feige's decision to make him one of the main villains of the MCU 's Phase Four seems like a great idea.
Originally from Earth in the 30th century, Nathaniel Richards was a scientist, bored of living in an age of prosperity, who instead decided to travel the multiverse, corrupting people living in different time periods, from Ancient Egypt to the American frontier. And yes, his last name is definitely no accident – Kang is a distant descendant of Mr. Fantastic himself, having inherited a share of this legendary superhero's wealth and his unparalleled intellectual abilities. The fact that he is also a descendant of Doctor Doom might suggest that something really interesting is going on with the children of one of the most iconic hero-and-villain duo.
If the MCU's producers will decide to continue this interesting origin story from Marvel comics, fans can expect a rather curious encounter between Johnathan Majors (Kang) and John Krasinski ( Mister Fantastic). Generational drama, anybody?
