These shows just don't live up to all the buzz.

It is pointless to deny that we are all living in the era of TV shows. Series are sometimes even more popular than expensive blockbuster movies – that would have been unthinkable 20 years ago.

Sometimes the hype around TV shows is so great that these projects are literally being talked about all over the place – but is this hype deserved?

1. Euphoria

It should be said right away that Euphoria is impeccably filmed. This is the case when you can forgive the slight roughness of the plot because of what you see on the screen. But let's be fair: Euphoria is a rather boring spectacle.

Yes, the project raises important questions, but by the fifth episode of the first season, everything that happens on screen just starts to get annoying and boring.

2. Stranger Things

The first season of Stranger Things was a powerful thriller with a great atmosphere. Everything in it was perfect – the soundtrack, the plot and the characters. However, the second season almost completely repeated the plot of the first.

The third season, it seems, disappointed everyone it could. The only thing left to do is to wait for the fifth season to find out if the show will be able to surprise the audience or if it will become a big disappointment.

3. Money Heist

The problem with Money Heist is not only the plot, which is based entirely on viewers’ belief in the Professor's unlimited possibilities. The main problem with the show is that it has the wrong focus. The whole world sympathized with a bunch of robbers, whose actions were only based on the thirst for profit.

4. Squid Game

Squid Game undoubtedly impresses with its visuals, but if you only look at the plot, then it turns out to be just predictable. It was clear after the first episode that the main character would win the game. After three episodes, it was obvious that the old man with the number 001 was a villain.

But we must give credit to the creators of the series – they were able to wrap a predictable plot in such a bright wrapper that the world literally went crazy. The style, the costumes, the unusual games that everyone later tried to repeat – it was the aesthetics of Squid Game that conquered the world.
