Julia Roberts Is Leaving Hollywood for Good, Reports Claim

Julia Roberts has had a phenomenal run in Hollywood. Numerous successful movies and shows, worldwide fame and recognition, and universal love from the audience and critics are great…however, according to recent reports, the 55-year-old actress wants to step away from the spotlight and leave Hollywood for good soon.

Apparently, the actress was growing increasingly tired of Hollywood in the past years, and at the same time, falling in love with San Francisco. Now, Julia Roberts wants to move her entire family there full-time, and it’s merely a matter of time until she convinces her husband, Danny Moder, to leave the iconic hills.

"She loves San Fran and never seems to want to leave. Julia gets way more pleasure and stimulation when she's at the ranch or puttering around San Francisco — which is still the No. 1 place she'd like to live if Danny ever agrees,” sources close to Roberts told RadarOnline.

While Moder was not a fan of his wife’s desire to move there at first, admittedly, he’s “coming around to that idea lately.” Despite potentially moving to San Francisco, the couple intends to keep their Malibu and New Mexico houses, as well. Even if Julia’s dream of moving to SF fails, the couple will move to one of those houses, instead.

“[Julia] and Danny are planning a big sit-down to decide one way or another — and it's looking increasingly like a full-blown move is on the horizon. [San Francisco is a priority for the actress, because] it's far more cultured and endearing to her than hanging around her Malibu estate,” the insider confirmed.

Admittedly, after long years spent in Hollywood, Julia Roberts has grown weary of the constant spotlight and attention, and living a low-key life in SF has become her new dream. We can’t be sure whether the actress will decide to completely avoid attention or not, but since she and Danny have settled on moving, it’s more than possible.
