Joshua Benard's Performance Alongside His Father Has General Hospital Fans Crave His Comeback
The father/son duo is what can make General Hospital truly special.
One of the things that can make even a 60-year-old show as exciting as it was when it first aired is cameos and celebrity guests. When audiences get tired of the same old drama with the same old characters, throwing in a few new ones, or bringing back the ones that have already appeared, is one sure way to make people happy again.
Especially when we're talking about family reunions! General Hospital is far from a novice when it comes to bringing the family members of its most popular actors to the screen.
From children to siblings, the soap has introduced viewers to its extended family in the most interesting of ways.
However, one person who's made a full-fledged character out of it was Joshua Benard.
Being the son of General Hospital star Maurice Benard definitely has its advantages. Being instantly recognized and showered with love by all soap fans is definitely one of them. That is why his character Adam was almost as popular as his father's Sonny Corinthos.
The only problem the viewers had was the longevity of his character, as he seemed to disappear in November 2022. To date, there is no information on what will happen to Adam and whether he will remain in Port Charles. However, unlike his character, Joshua Benard will be making his public debut soon.
Maurice Benard took to Instagram Reels to announce that his son will soon be joining him on his U.S. Milestone Tour, which will cover 14 states with special shows.
The heartwarming thought of a son supporting his father in one of his projects has all General Hospital fans excited about the idea of Joshua Benard joining the show after almost a year off.
Unfortunately, there is no official information that could support all the theories that fans are building around the possibility of Adam's comeback.
As of today, neither the production team of General Hospital nor Joshua Benard himself have confirmed the idea of his character's return.
