Jessica Chastain Shares Her Most Embarrassing Moment on Set
Still can't move on from your worst crush moment? Jessica Chastain has you beat.
In 2019, the famous actress sat down for dinner with her Dark Phoenix co-star Sophie Turner for Vogue France, and things got real heated real soon! The two women spilled some serious tea.
Sophie asked Jessica about her most embarrassing moment on set, and Chastain did not hesitate even for a second. Well, considering what she shared next, we wouldn't either…
This story is one that would make you wake up drenched in sweat at 3 a.m. and feel embarrassed to the core decades later…
Apparently, years ago, before Jessica met her husband, she was shooting a movie with an actor that she had a crush on at the time.
In one of the romantic scenes, she was calling the said actor by his real first name and didn't realize it until it was too late – until they "cut the scene."
To add insult to injury, it was the actor himself who told Chastain that she was using the wrong name. Sounds like the stuff of every girl's nightmare!
Jessica, understandably, left the actor's name out of the story (we are actually surprised she shared the story in public at all!).
That did not stop the fans from making their suggestions as to who it might have been. Let the guessing games begin!
People's top two choices for Jessica's crush seem to be Tom Hardy ( they did Lawless together in 2012) and Ralph Fiennes (they starred in 2011's Coriolanus). Both are definitely worthy!
Fans do have some other theories about other Hollywood heartthrobs, including Tom Hiddleston, Isaac Oscar, and James McAvoy.
However, they either do not fit the timeline (their movies came out after Jessica was already dating her husband), do not have a romantic scene together in the movie, or have simply been friends since college in real life.
Sherlock, where are you when we need you so badly?
We may never find out who Jessica Chastain had a crush on that led to such an amazing (for us) story, but at least we can find some peace in knowing that even celebrities have their flustered moments.
If famous actresses can get over it, so can we! Maybe just without telling the whole world about it?
