Jennifer Aniston Never Forgave Her Male 'Friends' Co-Stars' Betrayal
The Friends actors are famously very close in real life, too. But it doesn't matter friends or not, no one betrays Jennifer Aniston and feels no consequences!
Friends is an absolute global phenomenon: for years, this groundbreaking sitcom has been dominating the hearts and minds around the world.
The funny and dramatic relationships between the show's characters led to all the main cast members becoming close friends in real life, which in turn improved the series.
Even after all these years, the cast members are often seen together. Despite all of them being busy and successful people, the friends are trying to keep in touch as much as possible.
This involves being invited to important events in each other's lives, of course… But sometimes, this can lead to unforeseen consequences.
Back in 2000, Jennifer Aniston was marrying none other than Brad Pitt, and she wanted her best friends — the main cast of the sitcom that made them all famous — to be there with her for the grand celebration.
Unfortunately, her dreams of a happy reunion were shattered as one of her former co-stars couldn't make it there.
"I missed when she married Brad. I was in Austria working. She called me, and she was like, 'You're really not coming to my wedding?' <...>
It was a small-budget movie in Austria you've never heard of. Probably should have left anyway, but sh*t happens. What are you going to do?" Matt LeBlanc claims, defending himself.
That's right, the one and only Joe didn't make it to his best friend Rachel's wedding! Matt explained that he really tried to reschedule the shooting, but the schedule was too tight, and he could go…
This funnily mimics the situation in one of the Friends episodes, but that's beside the point.
Admittedly, Jennifer Aniston was hurt by her friend's absence from the ceremony: Matt LeBlanc never received an invitation to the actress's second wedding in 2015 when she was marrying Justin Theroux.
She didn't invite her other two male co-stars, either; Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow were there, though.
We may never learn what Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer did to upset Jennifer; perhaps, they were trying to cover up for Matt in the true Friends fashion and the actress didn't appreciate the gesture.
Either way, none of the three male stars of the sitcom were present at Aniston's second wedding, either.
Since then, Jennifer Aniston has divorced her second husband, too. The chances are thin, but maybe, if the actress falls in love and decides to marry someone again, she will actually have all of her Friends friends there to celebrate with her.
