It's not the viral dance, we promise.

Netflix 's Wednesday has proven to be an absolute hit with audiences, and there are several reasons for that.

Tim Burton's signature style, Jenna Ortega 's impeccable performance, a couple of iconic cameos, and, of course, that Bloody Mary dance trend — a lot of things contributed to the series' success.

Still, even many months after the premiere of the first season, many additional lovely details emerge. For instance, the show's make-up artist Tara McDonald has highlighted a very unique detail that only Jenna Ortega's Wednesday has.

“Jenna’s got these beautiful freckles, so it was a decision to keep those,” McDonald told Gold Derby. “We don’t see this in any other Wednesdays. I quite liked the look of that. I thought it was lovely."

Indeed, Ortega's Wednesday is the only one who has freckles. Besides, according to McDonald, the show's creative team had to make sure that the gothic teenager looked fabulous at all times, but in a way that would scream "I literally couldn't care less about how I look."

"We needed to make her look like she wasn’t wearing too much makeup. Like she didn’t care too much, but also for her to look fantastic at all times," McDonald explained.

After all, Netflix's Wednesday is the first show that explores the Addams daughter's teenage years thoroughly, so in a way, the series was a pioneer. A very successful one, mind you; the show's global triumph made sure it got greenlit for a second season almost immediately (at least by Netflix standards).

Even though the premiere date for the second season remains unknown, Wednesday fans are already speculating about what the next chapter holds for Jenna Ortega's character. With Ortega as executive producer, it sure looks like the second season will ditch the heavily-criticized love triangle and lean more into horror.

The suspense is killing us.
