Well, that's not surprising considering the fact that the actor dedicated more than a decade to the hit CW show.

Over the years, Supernatural became such a hit that The CW executives made it clear that the show would continue until stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki got tired of it.

In one of the interviews, Padalecki admitted that this moment came during the filming of the thirteenth season. He and Jensen talked and decided that the fifteenth season would end the story of the Winchester brothers.

The final opponent proved to be more than fitting. After dealing with Lucifer, leviathans, Crowley, Crowley's mother, Metatron, and so on, the Winchesters came face-to-face with God himself, who turned out to be the main culprit in their misadventures.

Jared Padalecki Could've Played Walker for Years

And although Jared Padalecki has dedicated 15 years to Supernatural, the actor recently admitted he would love to star in a completely different project if he had the chance – Walker. Jared admitted:

“I really would’ve done the show forever. I just loved my character. [...] I’m worse than heartbroken that we are not going to get to explore all those storylines.”

Walker Marks Padalecki’s Second Main Role on The CW

Jared Padalecki never quite escaped The CW after Supernatural ended – he went on to star in Walker, a remake of the 1990s show starring Chuck Norris. The new version introduced a modern version of the ranger: Walker is an emotionally broken widower who can't get over his wife, his kids are estranged, and he's been struggling at work for a long time.

Walker truly became one of Padalecki's best roles. Of course, the success and cult status of the original series is largely due to martial arts master Chuck Norris, who captivated audiences with his moves and charisma.

Jared Padalecki is also brilliant in this role, but in his own way – and this is important: the actor does not try to blindly copy his cool predecessor. Instead, Jared and the creators of the series rely on honesty and sincerity in revealing Walker.

We do not see a kung-fu machine, but a confused, disturbed, but still strong person, who can break down at any moment, but is always ready to fight for justice.

Walker's Cancellation Opened Another Door for Jared Padalecki

The CW decided to cancel Walker after four seasons because the show was too expensive for the network. But fans of the actor should not be upset – all signs point to Jared appearing in the fifth season of The Boys, reuniting with his Supernatural co-stars.
