It's Time To Admit It, Ted Lasso Was Never True Ted Lasso's MVP
However, you might see more of him in the finale.
Pretty much everyone who loves Ted Lasso on the show enjoys it so much because of the complex character that Ted Lasso has been himself over the years.
As he becomes more and more vulnerable and seems to give in to all the pressures in his personal life that have caught up with him during not the best of times in his career, he is still kind and relatable. A person any of us would like to be.
It was never the intention of any fan to deny Ted's impact on Richmond FC, however, upon re-watching, many felt he was not the true MVP of his own series.
The real hero, as usual, was hidden in plain sight and overshadowed by pretty much everyone else.
When you think about it, Higgins is the glue that really holds the team together. He may not be as impactful when it comes to the games themselves, but he's the one responsible for some of Richmond's best moments.
For example, signing some world class players like Mahrez, Vardy and Kante without ever getting any credit for it.
Looking back, you can't deny it: Leslie Higgins is very good at what he does and how he does it. He may be a little clumsy from time to time, and make an awkward impression on people, but the job always gets done.
And it gets done in a way that benefits the club in the long run.
Some fans feel that Higgins may have a bigger role than expected in the upcoming Ted Lasso finale. With all the connections he has, it wouldn't be too surprising to see him as the one to help Nate get back to Richmond.
He would definitely be the one to hear about Will's apology and go straight to Isaac to put the idea of bringing him back into his head.
Whether that is true or not, Higgins definitely knows Ted well enough to believe that he will grant Nate his forgiveness and put the past behind him.
Tune in to Apple TV Plus on Wednesday, May 31 to not miss Ted Lasso's big finale and see how the story unfolds.
