Is Steven Spielberg Really Set To Direct 'Fantastic Four' For Marvel?
The MCU's most anticipated blockbuster could be directed by one of the most legendary directors of our time, but nothing is confirmed at the moment.
The MCU is expanding rapidly, entering television and producing more and more projects every year. And after Sam Raimi joined the franchise and directed the 'Multiverse of Madness', it looks like Kevin Feige is finally ready to bring giant directors into his enterprise. While all of Marvel Studios' films are shot flawlessly, some fans argue that because the producers take the lead, most of the MCU films seem bland and too similar to each other. That could change in an instant if people like Steven Spielberg decide to jump on the Marvel train.
And it looks like Spielberg wouldn't mind trying his luck with directing a 'Fantastic Four ' movie, as recent rumors suggest that the iconic director is in early talks to join the MCU. Although the famous insider KC Walsh who spread the news has already deleted his tweet, citing that it is currently unconfirmed, fans are already sold on the idea.
The prospect of seeing the creator of 'Indiana Jones ' and 'Jaws' direct one of the most beloved superhero teams of all time certainly excites fans, as many argue that the director's signature style would be perfect for a Richards family story.
"Where is the rumor coming from? I would love it if it was true. Spielberg would be able to capture the feeling of wonder and excitement that is so important for the FF!" – /TraparCyclone.
Moreover, people are more than confident that Fiege would support such an idea, given the producers' recent comments after working with Raimi. It looks like these days Marvel execs are actively searching for a strong director with a particular vision, who can be trusted with creative freedom – after Raimi did such a fantastic job on 'Multiverse of Madness'.
