We got to see John Krasinski as Mr. Fantastic in 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' – although it was a rather brief appearance.

John Krasinski 's Reed Richards was introduced in 'Multiverse of Madness' as part of the Illuminati group from one of the alternate universes, and his cameo had been kept a secret for as long as possible before the movie's release.

Now that the actor got a mind-blowing promotion from 'The Office ' to the Illuminati, a lot of people engage in discussions about whether he was actually a good choice for the role, and even the OG Fantastic Four actor weighed in.

Alex Hyde-White, who portrayed Richards in the unreleased 'Fantastic Four' movie made back in 1994, said that he was pleased with Krasinski's take on his character.

"He's proved himself to be a heck of a storyteller and as a lead actor and a producer and director," Hyde-White said of John, when speaking to The Hollywood Reporter. "Krasinski is a force to be reckoned with because he has a joy of storytelling, and he's a good leader. Those are Reed Richards' characteristics."

It seems that Hyde-White is not the only one who's happy to see Krasinski in Mr. Fantastic's suit – even though the actor had less than 10 minutes of pretty rough screen time.

The script has indeed treated Krasinski's character pretty badly, but fans are still eager to see him return as Reed Richards.

With the 'Fantastic Four' movie already announced to be a part of the MCU 's Phase Four, Krasinski is highly likely to suit up again, although it has not been officially confirmed yet.
