Is Agents of SHIELD Star Subtly Teasing MCU Comeback?
Conspiracy theories are so rare these days, aren't they? OK, here's another one for you.
Marvel's S.H.I.E.L.D. star Chloe Bennet recently posted a carousel on her Instagram page. Bennet is seen posing with the sun shining on her face.
The second to last shot is of her naked back, while the last one zooms in on her dog, Arthur, apparently in awe as he discovers a taxidermized fox on the table.
MCU fans were quick to spot a little something that the general public missed – two daisies tucked into one of Chloe Bennet's socks.

Oh, she's giving us a sign! And while daisies may not ring a bell to many, because what could they be, to Marvel Universe aficionados they mean a lot.
Rewind to 2013, turn on your television and there it is - Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is on. The show, which ran on ABC from 2013 to 2020, starred Chloe Bennet as a character called... Daisy Johnson aka Quake! What a coincidence! Fans are now convinced that the actress chose the daisies on purpose, and not just some random nice-looking flowers.
"Ah, those daisies! Quake is coming," wrote one commenter on Bennet's post.
Other fans went on to analyse what the actress could be trying to say with the daisies. "Daisies in her ankle could mean you know what," another follower wrote, saying that Marvel is great at teasing big decisions with little things like this all the time.
Previously, Bennet repeatedly said she would not be involved in Marvel's Secret Invasion, which stars Emilia Clarke, Kingsley Ben-Adir and Olivia Colman, among others. The miniseries is due to be released in 2023. But that was last year and, as we know, anything can happen.
Whether Bennet's picture of daisies is a hint at her involvement in the MCU franchise remains to be seen. One thing is for sure, her Instagram post has caused quite a stir in the MCU fandom and has drawn a lot of attention to her. Isn't that what every movie star wants?
Here are some numbers. Bennet, who has around 2.8 million followers on Instagram, is no ordinary poster. The daisy post is only her third in November, but it is the most liked (200k likes) since 16 June, when she shared a picture of herself with Simu Liu, Marvel's first Asian superhero Shang-Chi, which got around 424k likes.
