Is Aemond Targaryen a Villain in 'House of the Dragon'?
And will there even be such a thing as good and bad guys?
'Game of Thrones ' universe is notorious for its characters walking a thin line between good and evil, so there's basically no villains in the cocktail of drama, violence and intricate schemes for the throne.
Things might go a similar way with the prequel 'House of the Dragons', but it doesn't mean that the show will end up being sunshine and rainbows. According to fans, there is a certain character who might come the closest to being a villain – and it's Aemond Targaryen.
"A prince of the blood that is a wild, willful, and hot-tempered dangerous swordsman. Oh, and he rides the largest and most powerful dragon around, Vhagar, as well." – /PrinceDragonflies
Not everyone is ready to label Aemond a villain, but everyone seems to be pretty much in agreement that he, as well as other characters, will do a lot of "dark" things. After all, in the Martin's original book series, Aemond torched the entire riverlands – so either way things are going to get pretty dark in 'House of Dragon' no matter what.

However, even if Aemond does not go full villain mode, fans are confident he will be one of the characters who people love to hate.
"I think he's still going to be gray in his storyline, but he's still going to be one of the easier characters to absolutely hate. They made him look like that for a reason. When he's on Vhagar, he's as much of a beast as she is!" – /Fictional_Apologist
Aemond is one of the House Targaryen members, the second son of King Viserys I Targaryen and the younger brother of King Aegon II Targaryen. Like his many siblings, he is a dragonrider: his dragon's name is Vhagar.
