Get ready for a twisted version of the holiday classic.

Imagine if Quentin Tarantino, the mastermind behind Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Django Unchained and many other great movies, got his hands on a family-friendly film like Home Alone. It might sound bizarre at first, but you don’t even need to imagine.

YouTube channel Yellow Medusa shared a video created using AI that shows what Home Alone would look like if it was directed by Tarantino.

In this new version, Macaulay Culkin isn't playing his famous role. But here's the real surprise: Quentin Tarantino himself steps in to play Kevin McCallister — his older version, to be exact.

The video gives us a little taste of what the movie would be about. The story starts off just like the original: Kevin’s parents leave him behind on their Christmas vacation to Europe. At first, Kevin feels excited to have the house completely to himself, but it’s just the beginning.

Remember Kevin’s kindly neighbor Old Man Marley? In Tarantino’s version this character is played by Danny Trejo, who makes friends with Kevin.

Things begin to go south as burglars step in. Kevin finds out about their plan of a big heist at his house, so he springs into action, setting up elaborate traps for the intruders.

“You picked the wrong house, mother****ers,” says Kevin in the best Tarantino style possible.

The movie would end with a crazy shootout between Harry, Marv, and their gang on one side, and Kevin and Old Man Marley on the other.

“The massacre will be as violent and spectacular as Tarantino’s best action scenes from Kill Bill and Django Unchained,” says the narrator.

Just admit it, you would totally love to see that on the big screen. Tarantino's love for action and violence would find its way into Home Alone. Kevin's booby traps would go beyond innocent pranks. Imagine blood-splattering paint cans, strategically placed knives, and a variety of deadly surprises.

It may sound like an odd match, but Home Alone directed by Quentin Tarantino would be an unforgettable experience. With his signature style, he'd bring tension, complex characters, dark humor, and a killer soundtrack to the table.
