Imagine Stranger Things Cast in Harry Potter Show (It’s Surprisingly Perfect)
Seriously, it’s like they were made to play wizards and witches.
Obviously, Noah Schnapp would be Harry Potter himself. His Stranger Things character is on the shier side, and he has that mysterious why-is-it-always-me vibe going that is definitely very Potter-esque.
Up next is Natalia Dyer as Hermione Granger, the brightest witch of her generation. Dyer’s Nancy is the smart girl of the group who has all the answers, so Hermione makes the most sense for her (let’s pretend that she is the same age as Noah for the sake of this casting). Although Nancy is a journalist, so… maybe Rita Skeeter?
OK, hear us out: it’s an unconventional choice, but Millie Bobby Brown should play Ron Weasley. She might not be a redhead, but she has that effortless making-people-laugh quality about her (as Eleven or in real life), and that’s very Ron – he can cheer up anyone.
Moving on to the Marauders. Finn Wolfhard would portray Sirius Black, and you can’t change our minds. His gorgeous dark hair and cheekbones that can cut you if you get too close would land him the part without a single audition.
Caleb McLaughlin would be an awesome James Potter. His Stranger Things character even suits that choice as well – Lucas has joined the basketball team, becoming one of the most popular guys in high school. Sporty, funny, and dating a redhead? That’s James Potter 101.
In that scenario, Sadie Sink is Lily Evans, of course. Her looks alone would score her the role, and fans wouldn’t even mind. The only thing we ask is please give her emerald-green contacts for the show, that’s it.
Gaten Matarazzo would be joining the ranks as Remus Lupin. Remus has to live with his werewolf curse, which makes him different from the rest of the kids. We feel like Gaten would be able to show that inner darkness while still keeping things lighthearted in the role.
Charlie Heaton, Stranger Things’ own Jonathan, would be a 10/10 casting for Severus Snape. His ability to portray a brooding outcast would come in handy for the role of the Potions Master.
We honestly don’t know what part to give to Joe Keery as he would simply shine in all of them, so we guess we’d have to create an original character for him, just to have such an amazing actor on board.
