Who truly cashed in on the iconic role?

We’ve had three live-action Spider-Men — Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and the current Spidey in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Tom Holland. Each actor brought something unique and memorable to the character.

Today, all three versions are equally appreciated by most of the fans.

However, the actors weren’t equally paid for their performances. If you wondered how much our favorite Spider-Men pocketed for their roles as the friendly neighborhood superhero, we are about to break it down.

Andrew Garfield

Andrew's stint as Spider-Man saw him earn $500,000 for the first Amazing Spider-Man movie. The sequel bumped his earnings to $1 million. Though there were talks of a third film, it never materialized. In Spider-Man: No Way Home, he apparently cashed in another $1 million for his role.

Tom Holland

Tom, our latest Spidey, started off with a modest $250,000 for his debut in Civil War. Spider-Man: Homecoming saw him earn around $500,000, which, with bonuses, amounted to about $1.5 million. As for Spider-Man: Far From Home, he reportedly took home $4 million.

While the exact figure for Spider-Man: No Way Home remains a mystery, it's estimated that Tom's standard base salary for a single film is between $4-$5 million. Not too shabby for the new kid, right?

Tobey Maguire

Tobey, the first modern-day Peter Parker, definitely had the upper hand when it came to his paycheck. For his debut in Spider-Man, he secured a whopping $4 million. But it gets better. For Spider-Man 2, he reportedly swung in with a whopping $17.5 million, plus 5% of the film's box office gross.

And for Spider-Man 3? A solid $15 million base salary, with an additional 7.5% of the film's earnings. All in all, Tobey's Spidey sense was tingling all the way to the bank, raking in around $75 million for his trilogy.

It’s no surprise, because the third movie, while considered to be the worst in the trilogy, raked in $895 million in box office.

Just like Garfield, he also got $1 million for showing up in No Way Home.
