Heartbreaking Stranger Things Theory Predicts a Painful Death In S5 (And It Makes Sense)

Season 5 is most likely going to be the last one for the original Stranger Things franchise, considering that Millie Bobby Brown, one of the show's cornerstone actors, wants to move forward and be done with the series.

This makes the upcoming season all the more important for the story's completion. Because of this, fans just can't help but speculate on what's going to happen in S5.

Recently, Twitter user Ariana simplytomh published a thread of "weirdly specific Stranger Things season 5 predictions", and it contains some really curious, dramatic, and fairly justified speculations on the upcoming events.

Ariana predicts many things, including Robin and Vicky getting together, Eleven and Lucas desperately trying to protect Max when the monsters come for her body, Will Byers being the key to finding or gaining an advantage over Vecna, and Eleven taking a rematch with Demogorgon and winning.

But one of the predictions stands out as being way too heartbreaking yet very possible: according to Ariana, either Karen Wheeler, Ted, or both of them will die.

This will serve to show that Vecna's plan is coming to fruition, and move that storyline further, and is going to be one of the most emotional moments in season 5.

Considering how much the Stranger Things fans love Karen Wheeler, it would be truly devastating for them if Ariana turns out to be right. But there's little hope this won't happen, and other fans admit it, too, though it brings little joy to anyone.

Other fans just hope that out of the two, it will be Ted who dies as they won't be able to handle Ms. Wheeler's death.
