Starring in two massively popular decades-long franchises just isn't enough for veteran actor Harrison Ford.
The Star Wars and Indiana Jones star is set to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, replacing the late William Hurt as General Thaddeus Thunderbolt Ross in the upcoming Captain America: New World Order. Ford has created an incredible net worth by staking himself into popular franchises, and that trend seems to continue.
Ford describes himself as "a late bloomer," not finding his stride as an actor until his mid-thirties. But when he took that life-changing role as Han Solo in 1977, his career took off. He starred as Solo and as the titular hero of Indiana Jones throughout the '80s, only to reappear as both characters decades later.
