Grey's Anatomy Star Names the Show's "Iconic" Sex Scene

Grey's Anatomy fans love the show for all the drama surrounding its characters and their relationship.
Let's be honest, probably the most popular moments on the show are sex scenes which are usually not only wild and passionate but also give the audience the much-needed breakthrough in the show's relationships.
One of the most-watched sex scenes in Grey's Anatomy history is a steamy moment with a fan-favorite couple, Jackson Avery and April Kepner, often called Japril.
The fan-favorite relationship started when both Jackson and April joined Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital as new residents. After toying with April's virginity storyline through Seasons 7 and 8, the show finally gave Japril shippers what they wanted, and April lost her virginity to Jackson breaking her promise to God in Season 8, Episode 21 called Moment of Truth.
The next day, during the medical boards, the couple went all the way again right in the hotel bathroom. This scene was so sexually charged that it racked up millions of views on YouTube. Despite her lack of intimate experience, April in the scene looks irresistible to both Jackson and the viewers.
The actor behind Jackson Avery recalled this iconic scene when asked by Insider whether there was a time when his co-star Sarah Drew playing April Kepner exceeded his expectations on set. Jesse Williams confessed that while filming the bathroom sex scene, he felt he was with a different, much sexier and more confident partner.
"So this kind of sexual empowerment was like, 'whoa,' it was a different scene partner," Williams said.
And everyone watching the scene for the umpteenth time can't help but agree.
"This scene is a nice role-reversal. It's apparent here that Jackson, the more experienced partner, is starting to develop genuine romantic feelings towards April and is falling for her, while April, the novice, has had a sexual awakening and is more caught up in just the physicality of it all," one of the Japril fans suggested.
It's scenes like this that make Japril fans want a spinoff revolving around their beloved pairing, especially after the Season 18 finale where viewers found out that Jackson and April were back together. Both actors already confirmed they would jump at the opportunity to star in such a spinoff.
