Nina should think about opening an amnesia rehabilitation center.

There are not so many TV shows that reached the mark of 60 years on the air without taking many prominent breaks and losing the majority of their audience.

Of course, there are some speculations about General Hospital not being the show it once was, as the writing gets a bit repetitive, and the audience doesn’t find half of the characters as exciting as they were, it still stands strong and doesn’t plan on going anywhere.

However, co-head writers Dan O'Connor and Chris Van Etten may want to take a closer look at the issue of repetitiveness, as it starts to get a bit ridiculous.

If we had a nickel for every time Nina meets an amnesiac guy who takes another identity, we would have two nickels. That's not a lot, but it's concerning that it happened to her twice.

It’s not a secret nobody was really on board with that storyline the first time around, as the viewers thought it was way too dragged out.

With Nina trying to tell Carly, and then Carly shutting her down, the story felt like it went on for years just to have a very dissatisfying ending to it. The viewers are afraid of the very same thing happening here.

While the storyline was at least new and somewhat fresh with Sonny, who met her as Mike, with Ned and his rockstar alter ego Eddie would be even more boring to watch.

Not only it bothers the audience that Nina seems to attract only those men who don’t have any control of their minds at the time, but their romance with Eddie, if it happens, would feel very forced too.

Luckily, there is still a great chance that Nina is not only going to pursue any romance with Eddie, but that Eddie is also faking his memory loss to get her exposed.

And that storyline filled with action instead of another unnecessary romance would fit the needs of the audience much better.

Tune in to ABC Monday through Friday to not miss another update on General Hospital’s most unforgettable character Nina Reeves and the deja vu encounters she has.
