Fans wonder whether they'll see her again.

One thing General Hospital gets a lot of criticism for is its casting choices. For a soap opera that has been running for more than 60 years, recasting is inevitable, as is the appearance of new characters.

However, not all of them are equally good and leave a great impression on the audience. And those who do tend not to last long on the show, which leads to even more growing frustration.

Unfortunately, General Hospital recently lost another amazing talent in the face of Jacqueline Grace Lopez, who portrayed Blaze from November 2022 to April 2023.

For any other show, this could be seen for quite a long time, considering that the episodes were aired daily, but in the case of General Hospital, fans think they were criminally robbed of more screen time with her.

Everyone understands that Blaze was never meant to be more than a filler character, but many were hoping that the writers would find a way to keep her around longer.

It's not often that viewers are so impressed with an actor that they want them to stay on the show as long as possible, but that's exactly what happened in this case.

Lopez's beauty, soothing voice, and strong presence made the audience fall in love with her so quickly that they were willing to give up someone else just to keep her on the show as a regular.

The actress herself has no hard feelings about her departure from General Hospital. In a post about the exit on her personal Instagram, she showed nothing but gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of such an iconic project.

This, along with the post's promising ending that "even the dead come back on soaps," leaves a little hope for fans who are ready to welcome Jacqueline Grace Lopez and her character Blaze back anytime there is a chance for her comeback.

If you are willing to wait and see whether or not Blaze will come back, you can tune in to ABC from Monday to Friday to not miss any new General Hospital episodes.
