Of course, the main drama that people are ready for is going to be between her, Trina, and Spencer. With her getting her memories back, all the negativity towards Trina also comes back, and Sprina's supporters are starting to get a little scared of what she might do to get Spencer on her side.

While some people think her whole existence will turn into a quest to bring down the woman who stole her ex-boyfriend, others think the character can and should be deeper than that. Even if it means taking a darker path and following in the footsteps of her parents.

“She already was trying to make peace and express understanding and apologize even when she didn't remember what she had done. For once in a lifetime, General Hospital finally has a chance to create a complex storyline with deep feelings and no right course of action. In the very bad light of Molly and Kristina's pointless pregnancy drama, Esme's moral duality makes her the most interesting character on the show with the most potential for development.

The only hope viewers have for her now is that she's not reduced to a caricature of a crazy ex-girlfriend, because she's far more mature than that at this point. Also, the less obvious her intrigues are, the more interesting it's going to be to watch the show.
