While some people would disagree with the statement that you cannot be loved until you love yourself, that seems to be the case for Nina. And since the only thing that seems to bring her joy, confidence, and creative freedom is Crimson, maybe that's the path her character needs to take right now.

Even though Nina isn't in the best position right now, being fired as editor in chief and replaced by Carly, she still has enough determination to fight back and keep doing the things she loves most.

It would not only be refreshing to finally see a female character on General Hospital who is completely career-driven, but it would also be very empowering for those at home.

If General Hospital doesn't decide to shake things up, the writers run the risk of completely ruining her character with no possibility of redemption.

Unfortunately, at this point, viewers are tired of seeing Nina make the same mistakes and miss the same opportunities over and over again. It's time to either change the tune or write her off the show entirely until the team has more ideas on how to use her character.
