If there is one thing fans of General Hospital are well known for, it is a state of constant nostalgia for years gone by.
It's hard to blame them: the show, which has been on the air since the '60s, had a lot of characters who deserved the audience's love and attention.
Not all of the current ones could compete if given the chance.

No one is sure if Holly and Robert's reunion was supposed to be one of them, but pretty much everyone agrees: it was a mistake.
Of all the iconic couples from General Hospital's '80s era, the writers focused on one with the least potential to be explored.
Robert Scorpio and Holly Sutton had a pretty strong and long run on General Hospital, starting in 1983. Their marriage was put to the test in 1985 and did not survive Holly's coma in 1992.

Throughout the '00s, she made enough mistakes to make her untrustworthy, especially with Robert Scorpio's heart.
If anything, fans believe the story will end soon with another heartbreak for Robert. Seeing them kiss again is just exhausting and feels like a waste of screen time.
