It's not often fans demand a character to die already.

Since its inception in 1963, General Hospital has had no shortage of villains. Some were driven by a seemingly better motive than others, and some were as deeply loved as they were hated, but they never left viewers indifferent.

While some may criticize the writing of today's show and call the character arcs repetitive, there is one villain who gets the most hate General Hospital has ever seen. Meet Gladys Corbin.

Though her character is relatively new, having been introduced to the show in 2019, Gladys has already grabbed viewers' attention with her evil schemes.

As portrayed by Bonnie Burroughs, she didn't seem so bad to fans. Some even found her funny at times and saw the beauty in her softer moments with Sasha Gilmore. But this calm didn't last long.

"I've pretty much not liked her since I started watching again during the pandemic. She was a leach, milking her son, blackmailing for a job, not doing to job, using the company credit card for personal stuff, trying to keep Brando and Sasha apart, wanting to live with them because she's too cheap to get her own place… the list goes on and on," Redditor NightBard said, sharing their thoughts on Gladys.

While some viewers argue that her character is suffering from an addiction, others feel that no addiction can explain her actions against her own family.

You would hope that a character would have the decency not to mess with her daughter-in-law after the death of her son and grandson. Well, that's not the case with Gladys Corbin.

TV history is not filled with instances of fans cheering the death of a character, but this one leaves no doubt. Fans claim she's irredeemable, and many agree they're ready to see her die in upcoming episodes.

Whether or not Gladys' storyline is coming to an end, you can find out by watching the new episodes of General Hospital. Tune in to ABC during the week to make sure you don't miss a thing.
