Fans Hope Mark Ruffalo's Solo MCU Project Will Be Announced At D23
The actor portraying the green giant is beloved by millions of fans around the world, so why isn't Feige willing to give Ruffalo a solo MCU project?
The Oscar-nominated actor is certainly capable of carrying lead roles, as he's already proven with his terrific dual performance in HBO's 'I Know This Much Is True', so the idea of giving the Hulk his own movie or series is certainly appealing to fans. And with the recent confirmation that Ruffalo will appear in the Disney+ series 'She-Hulk ', Marvel afficionados are pretty sure that a Hulk solo project will finally be announced at the upcoming D23, and they already have an idea of what the movie will be about.
In a discussion on Reddit some fans have suggested that the long-rumored 'World War Hulk' movie will be confirmed during the September event. In the original comic book plot, the Hulk traveled to many distant planets, trying to return to Earth to take revenge on the Illuminati who condemned him to exile. This does sound like a great idea for a good old-fashioned blockbuster, and fans are already developing curious theories about how to bring it to the screen.
Others still do not believe in the possibility of developing such a film, citing Ruffalo's previous comments about his future in the MCU.
D23 expo will take place after the Disney+ Day slated for September 8, 2022.
