Fans Fear For Laena in 'House of the Dragon' Episode 6 After New Promo

Laena Velaryon is perhaps one of the breakout stars of 'House of the Dragon ' episode 5, with many fans appreciating the glow-up, as well as her coupling with Daemon Targaryen.

It would be such a pity if something happened to this character right after fans grew warm to her… wouldn't it?

Now, we will have to note that before episode 6 premieres, nothing is certain, but many people are already concerned for Laena's life after they saw the first promotional stills from the episode.

One of them shows the daughters of Daemon and Laena standing on the roof in front of their father, wearing their nightgowns and with visible tears on their cheeks. Some fans have already decided that the picture might be showing the aftermath of Laena's death, with Daemon having to be the one to break the news.

While it's unclear whether the show will follow the book storyline precisely, 'Fire and Blood' does have Laena dying after giving birth to her third child, who died as well. Still, the reason for Daemon and his daughters looking this gloomy in the stills might as well be completely different.

Fans, however, are already saying how not ready they are to bid adieu to Laena. They are trying to prepare themselves for what could be yet another "heartbreaking" scene in 'House of the Dragon'.

In episode 6, there will be a time-jump that will have two main characters – Rhaenyra and Alicent – replaced by older actors, with fans buzzing with excitement to see whether or not the older version will live up to the expectations set by Millie Alcock and Emily Carey.

The new episode is set to premiere on Sunday on HBO Max.
