Fans Are Spiraling Over Jenna Ortega and Aubrey Plaza's Chemistry on Stage
The 29th Annual SAG Awards have come and gone… However, that should not (and does not) mean we are left without something to gush about!
Particularly, fans are obsessed (and we do mean obsessed) about Wednesday 's Jenna Ortega and Parks and Rec's Aubrey Plaza's chemistry at the SAG Awards while presenting an award for outstanding performance by a male actor in a television movie or limited series.
Followed by a 10-second-long silence on stage, Jenna and Aubrey joke about how they "have nothing in common" and then (shocker!) hilariously come to the conclusion that they, in fact, do. We literally could not agree more, could we?
Both beloved actresses are famous for their unmatched deadpan vibe in the corresponding roles, and some fans are literally dying to see them play opposite each other in a movie or TV series.
We know that Aubrey is basically not acting on that stage (numerous occasions have proved it), what about Jenna? Has she become one with her Wednesday persona or is she just that good of an actress?
Hopefully, we will find that out soon enough!
While fans agree that the two stars would kill it in a dramedy of some sort, they are torn apart regarding the roles that they would like to see the actresses in.
Some want Ortega and Plaza to play sisters, others crave more of a mother-daughter type of the situation. Us? We would just like to see those two on screen together, preferably as much as possible!
People are also noticing that Jenna and Aubrey even kind of look alike. No surprise that many believe Aubrey would be perfect as adult Wednesday. Wednesday creators, we hope you are taking notes!
Besides co-presenting the award, both actresses were nominated as well.
Jenna Ortega was celebrated for her outstanding performance in the leading role in Wednesday, while Aubrey Plaza was nominated together with her The White Lotus castmates for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama series, and the show was announced a winner.

We know that there is more to come…Whether we see Plaza and Ortega cast together, and our dreams come true, or the universe decides that we are unworthy of such shared excellence, and they never play in the same movie is unclear.
