Everyone’s new favorite post-apocalyptic TV show might release its second part sooner than we expected.

The funniest thing about Prime Video ’s recent Fallout TV show was just how shocked was everyone by its immediate overwhelming popularity, including its creators, actors, the franchise’s OG fans, and the platform’s top management. No one expected Fallout to work miracles, but they still made the series with great care and love and meticulous attention to detail — and it turned out to be a huge hit.

Fallout was renewed for Season 2 only three days after Season 1’s premiere, and we already have an amazing update: the next part might be closer than we thought.

Fallout Showrunners Have Season 2 Lined Up

Even the debut season of Fallout was rather grand in terms of its scale, and Season 2 — seeing how it will be at least partially set in the ruins of New Begas — is going to be even grander. This led many fans to believe there might be quite a wait between the two parts, but apparently, the timing will not be an issue for Season 2.

“We are going as fast as we possibly can, and we’ve got a lot of heavy lifting from Season 1 already done. We have sets, assets, visual effects, that are already done. We are hitting the ground running this season. We’re going to be pedal to the metal to get season two out as fast as humanly possible,” Graham Wagner told THR.

Fallout Season 2 Will Be Exciting and Busy

Even from what we’ve seen in Fallout Season 1, it’s easy to tell that in the next part, the events are going to spiral even more and stakes will be even higher. But apart from the obvious observation, we also have confirmation from the showrunners: they have been hoarding cool ideas for Season 2 all the time they spent on S1.

“There are so many things we wanted to do in Season 1 where we were like, ‘That would be amazing, let’s do that in Season 2.’ So it feels like we’re so much farther along and it’s honestly really exciting and we’re just really grateful to have the opportunity to bring to the screen all the things that didn’t quite fit in Season 1. We’re excited to get to do those now,” Geneva Robertson-Dworet shared.

We sense exciting things coming right up, and honestly, we would’ve waited as many years as needed to have an even bigger and stronger Fallout Season 2. The fact that the showrunners already have it all lined up and are speeding their way to releasing the new installment only makes things that much better!
