Ready for a new game?

Netflix has announced the release date for Squid Game: The Challenge, so we have a little over a month to get ready before it hits the platform on November 22. And as the creators promise, there will be a lot to see.

For those who may not remember, Squid Game is a Korean drama that revolves around people who are suffering financially, so they have decided to take part in a questionable competition to win a ton of money.

Under the guise of being childish and innocent, they are offered to play dangerous games that affect both their mental and physical health, and sometimes even cost them their lives. The show was a huge hit and was greenlit for a second season.

However, Squid Game: The Challenge is not it. The upcoming Netflix series is the new reality show that will literally rock your world. The creators have revealed that the show will have the biggest cast in the history of the industry.

The premise of the show will be the same, but with a twist: 456 real people will compete for $4.56 million by playing games. The big change, of course, is that there won't be any deaths on the show.

The reality will have the same visuals as the original show, as we've seen in the first teaser released. The same green costumes, numbers and probably the attitude to do anything to win the money. It is also stated that the ten episode show will feature games already mentioned in Squid Game, but there will also be new surprising additions.

However, it seems that the show has already caused controversy on the Internet because of some anonymous messages from contestants. Apparently, the showrunners decided to make the filming process as harsh as the series has shown us, so the conditions were quite disturbing. It was cold on the set, there was almost no food, and the overall atmosphere was just creepy.

But haven't they seen the original show? No one is safe in a game where $4.56 million is at stake, wasn't that obvious?

Will you watch the new series inspired by Squid Game?
