Why do little ladies in pink always seem nicer than they are?

Bridgerton season 2 gave us a lot of drama and really played on our nerves with non-stop little annoying things happening to its characters.

The season's newcomers, the Sharma sisters, totally stole the show for good, but in the end, one of them made the whole season about her suffering and betrayal.

Although the fandom's view is that it was more about her ignorance and blindness, along with total selfishness under the false pretense of caring.

So first things first. Why is Edwina Sharma so beloved by the vast majority of the show's fans?

The thing is, they believe that the season's diamond went out of her way to bring her sister and her former fiancé together, and was so noble to let them be together despite the core pain she got from their affair.

They say, if it wasn't for Edwina, those two wouldn't have spent so much time together to finally understand the attraction they have towards each other.

Remember the haunting scene, or the Kathony dance at the Bridgerton ball at Aubrey Hall? But those who hold unpopular opinion are sure that these were all small acts of selfishness.

She only pushed Kate to do these things to finally get her approval for this "love match" she thought she had with Anthony.

And all the while she was saying that her sister's opinion was the most important thing in her life and that she only wanted Kate to be the happiest.

"She didn't exactly act like somebody who only ever wanted Kate to be happy. Not when she was completely ignoring Kate. Not when she was going out of her way to do the exact opposite of what Kate told her to do. Not when she only bothered to speak to Kate when it was to get Kate to help her win the one man Kate didn't want anywhere near her.

Not when she was too busy enjoying her grandparents fawning over her to care that they were belittling literally everybody that actually cared about her in the process. Certainly not when she was still seriously considering marrying the man Kate was in love with, probably just so that Kate couldn't have him," Reddit user Kathony4ever said.

After all this, the fans just do not buy the sad smile and the blessing that Edwina gave Kathony. Which, by the way, only came after Kate almost died in a horse accident.
