Every Bounty Poster in Netflix's One Piece, Ranked From Cool to Total Badass
The One Piece live action can certainly teach everyone a lesson in character introduction.
Let's set one thing straight from the beginning: the very concept of introducing notorious pirates through animated bounty posters is already on top of our lists of the most badass things ever.
But we just have to rank them right now.
7. Gold Roger
Surprisingly, the very pirate who kickstarted the entire One Piece hysteria had one of the tamest bounty posters. Who needs to show off when you already got all the pirates craving for your treasure?
6. Don Krieg
Cool poster and impressive bounty, but the guy didn't even last a minute. Maybe it's because he had pretty tough competition — we'll talk about it later...
5. Alvida
That ship design alone should have its own bounty poster. Still, Alvida is badass and ready to slay, and we love it.
4. Arlong
The first season's big baddie certainly meant business when he ripped his own bounty poster in pieces with his nose. Arlong was pretty intimidating, but not quite bone-chilling enough to make it to our top 3. Speaking of which...
3. Kuro
Did everyone see how Klahadore (bless you) a.k.a. Kuro of the Thousand Plans sliced his bounty poster with his blades? Did everyone see that? Are you okay? Because we are clearly not. The minute the devious butler officially revealed himself as Kuro was when we fell in love with this live-action adaptation for good.
2. Buggy
Or maybe it was the minute we got introduced to Buggy the clown, with his Joker- esque mannerisms and weird puns that need instructions that tell us when to laugh. Still, Buggy remains one of One Piece's most intimidating characters, especially when he reminds us of his own little Devil Fruit superpower. One could say he can't keep his hands to himself...
1. Mihawk
But look, everybody. Dracule Mihawk is an absolute badass champion of this rank. He had everything. That sword, that fight, the way that he remains nonchalant while destroying his enemies? His bounty may be cancelled, but he's still a wanted man, you know what we mean?
