Emma Watson has been in all eight Harry Potter movies and has had plenty of scenes with plenty of actors. However, there is one castmate who has instantly become Emma's favorite – to everyone's surprise!

You might think that Emma Watson would choose Rupert Grint or Daniel Radcliffe as the co-star closest to her heart, right? You wish!

Back in 2011, the British actress revealed her truth during a press conference for the last movie.

When she was asked to talk about her favorite moment from the set, Emma took some time to think and finally came up with a perfect but unexpected answer.

Turns out, she really loved working with the one and only Bellatrix Lestrange!

Watson recalled how much "fun" she had filming with Helena Bonham Carter. The two appeared together in the famous torture scene, where Bellatrix was brutally interrogating Hermione.

Bonham Carter repeatedly said that she also loved working with Watson, even though she found the scene very unsettling to shoot (and Emma agreed!).

Well, the duo performed so well that this moment still gives us goosebumps every time we watch it!

The two actresses also had to work closely together on the whole sequence where Hermione drank a Polyjuice Potion and pretended to be Bellatrix.

While that sounded easy as a storyline, it was a lot harder to accomplish in the movie – Helena had to be convincing enough as a Hermione pretending to be Bellatrix (and she totally pulled it off).

Does that make your head spin a little? That's normal. In a 2010 interview for MTV News, Bonham Carter revealed the story behind filming the scene.

Apparently, instead of putting a lot of makeup on Emma Watson to make her look like Bellatrix, the director just told Helena, "Now you go act like Hermione."

Sounds easy-breezy?

The actress didn't mind because she "always wanted to be Hermione," so it was a "fun" experience for her. She also got to act opposite Radcliffe and Grint, and they had to treat Helena as if "she was 17."

Must have been uncomfortable for the guys!

We couldn't be happier that Emma Watson and Helena Bonham Carter are much closer in life than their Harry Potter characters are on-screen.

Hopefully, no one is torturing anyone IRL…
