Emily Blunt Weighs In On The MCU's 'Fantastic Four' Fancasting
With John Krasinski's Mr. Fantastic finally appearing in the 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness', fans are fancasting remaining members of the Fantastic Four.
Emily Blunt, the actress known for her roles in 'Jungle Cruise' and 'A Quiet Place ' and Krasinski's real-life wife, is the number one choice for the role of Sue Richards, the spouse of Mr. Fantastic and the superhero known as Invisible Woman. Rumors of her involvement in the upcoming 'Fantastic Four ' movie have been circulating for several years now, but as the cast announcement approaches, Blunt's response to fancasting have become more relevant than ever.
Speaking to ComicBook.com, Blunt was asked a few questions about her possible transformation into Invisible Woman alongside her husband as Reed Richards, and she answered them rather surreptitiously, thanking her fans for their incredible support.
"Well, I don't know, you're gonna have to speak to Feige about it, right? No, fan casting is obviously so flattering and lovely, but I don't see it as anything other than hypothetical until they cast someone else," Blunt said.
Does it seem like the British actress is still in the dark about her possible involvement in the MCU, or maybe she's 'doing an Andrew Garfield' by withholding exciting news because of Feige's 'no spoilers' policy?
