One of such eternal internet boyfriends is Dylan O'Brien who made an epic comeback last year after an almost five-year hiatus caused by a serious trauma on the set of Maze Runner 3. The break let the actor reintroduce himself to himself, as he put it in an interview with Bustle.

He is still beloved by millions and very excited about all the love he gets from fans. The return of the actor was celebrated by his enormous fanbase who had had a virtual affair with O'Brien since he first appeared in MTV's Teen Wolf as the sweet and handsome protagonist Stiles Stilinski back in 2011.

He told Bustle that being nice had always been his thing.
"I think it's something that I owe myself to embrace, because it's a good quality, for the most part," the actor shared after taking time to record a message for a fan who approached him in the middle of the interview.
When asked how he felt about the amount of love he gets from his huge fanbase, the actor had the best reply.
"It's so funny, my palms are sweating. It's overwhelming [and] it's wonderful. It's just gnarly to think about little me having this really special thing happen."
Undoubtedly, such a sweet and genuine reaction is what lets the actor keep his internet boyfriend status for years.
