Don't Miss These 6 TV Finales on ABC, Netflix, Prime & More This Week
This week we have to say goodbye to six excellent shows.
Late November and early December are jam-packed with exciting releases on the broadcast networks and streaming services, including premieres and new seasons of popular hits. It's easy to get overwhelmed by the sheer number of releases, but before we get into the new stuff, let's catch up with the ongoings. Sadly, this week will be the last for many popular series and reality shows, so we should keep our cool as we impatiently await the finales of our favourite projects.
The end of the next chapter in the life of the Kardashian family, the story of 72-year-old Gerry Turner's search for love, the fifth season finale of Virgin River and the comedy-horror Shining Vale — we present 6 great series whose final episodes will be released this week.
6. The Kardashians, Season 4, Episode 10
Release date: November 30
Available on: Hulu
Love 'em or hate 'em, but they're not going anywhere from the limelight! The fourth season of the reality show about the world's most powerful and influential media mogul family, the Jenner-Kardashians, premiered September 28 on Hulu, revealing intimate moments from the lives of Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie off the red carpet. The final episode, titled Buckle Up and Let's Go, chronicles Kim's experiences after starring in American Horror Story and Kourtney and Travis' preparations for their gender reveal party.
5. Virgin River, Season 5, Part 2
Release date: November 30
Available on: Netflix
The sixth season of Netflix's acclaimed cozy drama Virgin River will be released sometime in 2024, and from the looks of it, the season will only consist of ten episodes. However, the agonizing wait for the abbreviated season will be eased by the upcoming release of Christmas specials that will wrap up the events of Season 5. The two new episodes will have a lighter holiday tone that will be a gift to the fans after the intense Part 1.
4. The Golden Bachelor, Season 1, Episode 9
Release date: November 30
Available on: ABC, Hulu
On Thursday, we'll find out who will receive the Golden Rose from the charismatic and humble Gerry Turner. In the two-hour finale, 64-year-old Leslie Fhima and 70-year-old Theresa Nist will finally meet Gerry's family and find out who Gerry will finally open his heart to. The Golden Bachelor is an incredibly popular reality show that proves love and passion are available to all ages.
3. Colin from Accounts, Season 1, Episodes 7 and 8
Release date: November 30
Available on: Paramount+
Also on Thursday, Paramount+ subscribers can catch the final two episodes of the excellent Australian comedy series Colin from Accounts, created by and starring Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer. In the finale, Gordon and Ashley must decide if they need each other and, of course, whether they can save Colin!
2. Shining Vale, Season 2, Episode 8
Release date: December 1
Available on: Starz
The second season of the Starz horror series starring Courteney Cox and Greg Kinnear ends on Friday. The comedic horror series follows a dysfunctional family that moves into a beautiful old house. Except paranormal things start happening in it, and the mother of the family is either depressed or possessed.
1. The Great British Baking Show, Collection 11, Episode 10
Release date: December 1
Available on: Netflix
The finale of the fourteenth season of the British baking competition (it's called Collection 11 on Netflix, since the streamer doesn't have a license for the first three) is just around the corner, and it will show which of the home bakers deserves the top prize.
