'Doctor Strange 2' Rumored To Introduce New Wolverine Into MCU
The story of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine has ended heartbreakingly and beautifully in ‘Logan’, but it seems that the superhero will be back soon. However, it looks like Hugh Jackman is not going to portray him.
Rumors circulate on social media that Doctor Strange 2 will feature Wolverine will introduce Wolverine into the MCU, but the name of the actor to play him remains a mystery. The only thing that everyone is sure about is that it’s definitely not Hugh Jackman, as Marvel, according to reports, has other plans.
Some fans have already suggested it’s going to be Daniel Radcliffe who will inherit the iconic claws, others are sure Marvel will go for someone completely new, like they did with ‘Thor’ and then-unknown actor Chris Hemsworth.
And there is a third group, who simply “won’t be watching”.
Someone pointed out that if there’s no way to have the “original” Wolverine, why even go for Wolverine at all?
Well, how about a Danny De Vito cameo? Anyone?
We won’t have to wait for too long to know the answer, as ‘Multiverse of Madness’ hits the screens on May 6. And while it’s unclear whether we’ll see Wolverine, we can for sure expect some more Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange (duh) and Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda. Moreover, there were rumors that the villains are going to be Partick Stewart’s Professor Xavier and Superior Iron Man - some even claimed that the latter will be portrayed by Tom Cruise.
