Disturbing Sponge Bob Theory on Krusty Krab Secret Formula is Darker Than You Think

Krusty Krab is everyone's favorite burger place for a reason in SpongeBob SquarePants. After all, if you have a villain whose ultimate goal is to steal your secret recipe, then you know it's really good... but at what cost?
One popular fan theory on Reddit claims that the main ingredient of the patty burgers is in fact... crab meat. Because let's be honest, just how many crabs do we see in SpongeBob? Only one, right?
And this very crab happened to kind of prove the fan theory by a very bizarre and disturbing remark. At some point in the show, Mr. Krabs takes a bite of his own main dish and suddenly notes: "So that's what I taste like".
Another thing that doesn't help is the fact that Krusty Krab is literally in the shape of a crab trap, as noted by many fans. And if you think about it, the very name of the café is kind of giving it away immediately...
It's not like we wanted to ruin your childhood with this theory, but it looks like Mr. Krabs actually loves money a lot more than he loves his own kind. The dark fan theory has never been officially confirmed, but who knows, maybe the show's creators just don't want to traumatize the kids?..
In fact, the official stance is that Krabby Patties are veggie burgers and do not contain any meat, even though things that Sponge Bob fries at work clearly look like something made of meat. Besides, the secret formula of the patty has never been disclosed in the series. But it's clearly more comforting to just accept the official version and go with it instead of delving into the dark theories...
