Did He Win? Brad Pitt Once Bid $120k For a Night With Emilia Clarke
Described as "the best night of her life," it was quite an experience for the actress.
Brad Pitt and Emilia Clarke are both top Hollywood actors, but did you know that this fact isn't the only thing they have in common?
Apparently, back in 2018, Pitt had a good chance of spending a night with the Game of Thrones star by watching an episode of the acclaimed show she starred in together.
It all happened during an auction at Sean Penn's annual gala for Haiti in Los Angeles. The auction for the chance to watch an episode of Game of Thrones with Clarke started at $20,000, but the price quickly rose.
The actress was at the event with her co-star Kit Harington, who left the room for a moment before the bidding began.
Brad Pitt, who was also present, seized the opportunity and offered $80,000, only to quickly raise it to $90,000. When Harington, who had just returned to the room, offered to join the viewing, Pitt raised his bid again to $120,000.
Unfortunately, the legendary actor didn't win the auction, losing out to an unnamed attendee who offered the final price of $160,000.
Emilia later recalled the night and called it "the best night of her life" while appearing on The Graham Norton Show.
She compared the event to the Oscars because of the amazing number of celebrities in the room and said she was "petrified."
It was quite an experience for the actress and according to her reaction it was unforgettable.
Emilia Clarke will soon appear in the TV series Secret Invasion, which is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
There she portrays G'iah, daughter of Skrull leader Talos, played by Ben Mendelsohn, and will most likely play a major role in the events of the series.
She may even appear in other MCU projects, such as The Marvels. Secret Invasion will premiere on Disney Plus on June 21, 2023.
