The Demon Slayer: To The Swordsmith Village movie has been in theaters for a while now and fans have formed their opinions. The new installment has become the subject of heated debate.

The new movie can hardly be called a movie in the true sense of the word.

It contains the last two episodes of the Entertainment District arc and the first episode of the new anime season from the Swordsmith Village arc.

While the content of the new movie was not kept secret, it was also not widely publicized, leaving many viewers surprised and disappointed when they went to the theater hoping to see a full expansion of the Demon Slayer universe.

However, the new anime did not disappoint those who had actively followed the news. Although even they agree that the filmmakers could have at least removed the credits so as not to interrupt the narrative.

"It was great getting the recap, and the new episode in the big screen was awesome. Having the opening and ending credits between recaps was a bit weird and I felt they could have blended it better but again. I was very happy with it," Reddit user CoolCondition4141 commented.

On the other side of the barricades there were those who did not want to ruin their impression of the movie with spoilers and went to the theatre blindfolded, which played a cruel joke on them.

" I did not read anything about it so I would'nt get spoiled, went to the cinema thinking I would get big part of the arc covered. Rookie mistake, it was basically one new episode in which nothing happend. Not only that but they did not even edit the episodes from the red district arc," Reddit user El-Mosco2077 said.

Thus, the opinions of anime fans are divided: some believe that watching three episodes of an anime on the big screen is an experience they are willing to pay for, while others believe that such a "lazy" presentation of a new installment is disrespectful to fans in order to make more money on the love of the show.

For those of you who did not have the time or could not make it to the theater, you can watch the new season of Demon Slayer very soon — it will be released on April 9th.
