When it comes to creating a script for a movie, television series or any kind of visual media, many interesting and compelling ideas may end up in the trash can.

The Star Wars franchise is no different, as many intriguing and game-changing developments were pitched, but never made the cut for various reasons.

But if some of these sequences were included, how differently would the galaxy far, far away be? One particular culturally significant nearly-included Star Wars moment truly stands out.

The year 2022 could've become a game-changing point because of just one word, never before heard on any of Star Wars productions.

As the title of this article suggests, the infamous word came close to being uttered, but never was.

A deleted Star Wars moment involves the franchise's first-ever F-bomb being nearly included in the 2022's Andor series.

Actress Denise Gough revealed to Empire that during the filming, Fiona Show, the actress portraying the late Maarva Andor, for a brief moment yells, "F*** the Empire," instead of "Fight the Empire!" which is what ended up in the final cut.

As the whole cast was apparently "very excited about" hearing Fiona Show saying this version of the phrase, they did realise the f-word won't make to the final cut for "obvious" reasons.

While Disney may have erred on the side of caution and decided to leave this moment out, the show's critically acclaimed run may provide hope for those who crave its inclusion in future episodes.

After all, the series has already been using light swear words, such as "sh*t" and "bastard."

Will the characters of the Star Wars franchise truly be able to explicitly "f**k" the Empire? Only time will tell.
