Daredevil Born Again Faces a Possible Change In Episode Count
There’s nothing that hasn’t changed.
Summary:
The new production of Daredevil currently in the works at Disney Plus may be the only show that fans are willing to wait for as long as the team needs them to, without any fuss.
There is a lot of faith in making the reboot of Matt Murdock's story the best it can be, and all the changes that have been made recently suggest that the show could be an absolute hit. Just like its predecessor, Netflix 's Daredevil, was back in a day.
So far, every piece of news about the show has brought nothing but smiles to fans' faces.
However, there are some things that could change for the worse, and viewers should be prepared for that. Originally it was announced that the revival would run for 18 episodes.
With all the rewrites that have been done to the plot, no one can be completely sure. Fortunately, as the show approaches its shooting dates, that question will be answered.
Daredevil Born Again Episode Number
Speaking to ComicBook.com, the show's one and only Kingpin, Vincent D'Onofrio, shared nothing but excitement at the impending start of the filming process.
After all, the team behind the show has been preparing for this for so long, so it must feel really special to finally see how things play out in front of the camera.
However, there are still many questions surrounding the project that even D'Onofrio can't really answer. The number of episodes that Daredevil Born Again will release is one of them.
“The amount of episodes keeps fluctuating, so I don’t really know the number that we’re at right now. <...> I think you’re gonna have to wait for an official announcement, because I don’t want to say a number that we’re going to do because I’m not even quite sure what it is,” he admitted.
The number 18 was originally announced by Kevin Feige along with all the other details about the show, but since there was a huge overhaul that took place after that announcement, it's not something that could have stayed exactly the same.
18 episodes in one season would have made Born Again the most ambitious Disney Plus series to date, but it's better to be prepared for that number to be reduced.
As long as there is enough airtime to do justice to Daredevil's journey, fans, already used to all kinds of change, would be fine with any outcome.
Daredevil: Born Again is expected to hit the screens of Disney Plus viewers sometime in 2025. Stay tuned for more news and updates from the set in New York!
