Danny and Baez: Will They or Won't They? Blue Bloods Fans Hold Their Breath
There are just too many clues.
With Blue Bloods Season 13 in full swing, fans can't help but hold out hope for Danny and Baez's endgame. After ten years of the work besties dynamic and slow-burn, the "Daez" couple might finally enter a new stage in their relationship.
Who doesn't love a good slow burn? Well, as much as Blue Bloods fans love it, they are demanding that these two finally start an affair after a decade of solving cases together and gradually opening up to each other. And finally — just one line in season 13 episode 9 might be just the spark the fandom needs.
When Danny has to intervene in a deep cover mission with his friend John, the two have a frank conversation. John, who is on a mission to find his kidnapped wife Naomi, realizes that his wife is the most precious thing he ever had. As the two talk about their partners, Danny says something about Maria Baez that every shipper has wanted him to say: "I'm happy with my partner. We have the right women in our lives.
"Mark my words! Danny and Baez will be together by the end of the season," said Twitter user dannyandbaez.
Others agreed, arguing that Danny could finally be happy with Baez after losing his beloved wife Linda.
Is Reagan Family Willingness to Bend the Rules Getting Out of Hand on Blue Bloods?
Over the past few months, fans have become increasingly confident that the show is slowly moving towards the two finally ending up together, picking up on clues like "matching ponchos" and how the duo always knows they are there for each other.
However, not everyone is as happy as Baez shippers.
"I hope Danny's comment about Baez being the "right woman" only means as a partner. Another storyline of work partners getting romantically involved isn't necessary, even if it worked for Jamie and Eddie," said Redditor Navitach.
Which will win in the end? Work ethic or chemistry? We will have to stay tuned and keep an eye on Blue Bloods Season 13 to find out. New episodes air Fridays on CBS.
