With Blue Bloods Season 13 in full swing, fans can't help but hold out hope for Danny and Baez's endgame. After ten years of the work besties dynamic and slow-burn, the "Daez" couple might finally enter a new stage in their relationship.
Who doesn't love a good slow burn? Well, as much as Blue Bloods fans love it, they are demanding that these two finally start an affair after a decade of solving cases together and gradually opening up to each other. And finally — just one line in season 13 episode 9 might be just the spark the fandom needs.
When Danny has to intervene in a deep cover mission with his friend John, the two have a frank conversation. John, who is on a mission to find his kidnapped wife Naomi, realizes that his wife is the most precious thing he ever had. As the two talk about their partners, Danny says something about Maria Baez that every shipper has wanted him to say: "I'm happy with my partner. We have the right women in our lives.
