Daniel Kaluuya To Return In 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever'
It's official: despite his previous comments, Daniel Kaluuya will indeed reprise his role from the first 'Black Panther' movie.
Despite Chadwick Boseman's tragic passing in 2020, Ryan Coogler helmed sequel is still happening with other supporting characters from the first film receiving much bigger roles. With Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Lupita Nyong'o, Martin Freeman and Angela Basset set to return, there was only one notable casting 'blind spot' remaining – Daniel Kaluuya. Well, not anymore.
The news broke out thanks to upcoming movie's assistant costume designer, who previously revealed that she helped create the costume for Kaluuya's character, W'Kabi. This announcement came as a surprise to many fans that follow the career of the 'Get Out' star, given that Daniel himself was previously unsure of his character's return to the MCU.
Maybe, Kaluuya winning Best Supporting Actor Oscar for 'Judas and the Black Messiah' changed some Disney execs' plans for his involvement with the franchise. Anyway, fans will surely love to see friend-turned-villain W'Kabi return for the new chapter in Wakanda's story.
